Good on you, Kate
Good. The Kate Middleton thing is beyond old at this point.
I genuinely don’t think she or anyone else in the royal family cares if she is referred to as Kate or Catherine.
I do deeply care about the cause she is a patron of and I wish that got more attention than her signature and I’m sure she would agree.
What breaking news! Woman her name letter, rest of the world in shock that they have been referring to her by the wrong name for at least 10 years.
The real pressing issues facing the UK today.
Never let it be said they are out of touch….!
I mean, you sign letters by your name, not title or style.
The King doesn’t sign things “The King” or “My Majesty” but “Charles R”

They’ve made a very similar post last year of showing off her signature on a document (in this case a letter for Christmas).
I wish my signature was half as nice as hers lol. Maybe it’s because I don’t particularly care and no one really sees it!

I don’t think they care and I think they know it looks bad for them to be seen to care… the apology was triggered by viewers complaining not the palace.
Analyzing her signature is interesting. What I see is a healthy ego, acknowledgement of a higher power and strong personal convictions. I like her! 👑
I see no issue with this. If her name is Catherine Wales, that’s how she should be addressed in the media.
is this even related to the Kate vs Catherine thing or is it just that her signature happens to be on the letter? I see no relation to these two stories.
I really don’t think they’re that fussed about petty drama. Imagine them in their social media planning meetings being like ‘the principals would like us to use Addiction Awareness Week to make a subtle nod towards the fact that someone complained about media using her wrong name and really highlight that she’s called Catherine’. It’d be ridiculous.
It’s just a photo for aesthetic purposes, I’m sure.
The truth is the media will continue to refer to her as Kate Middleton because that SEO benefits them. She became famous under that moniker therefore it’s the most recognizable. BUT it’s been very clear since her engagement interview she prefers to go by Catherine (William always refers to her as such also). I don’t think they care enough to engage in any kind of back and forth with the media about it it’s just her personal preference.

The amount of energy royalist put into Kate’s name over her actual impact and actions is crazy work.
I’m not blaming Kate. But this goes to a bigger issue with her supporters obsessing over her position and titles. Now the palace playing this foolish game.
Why even show her signature unless it’s to make an issue of it?
Huh
Majority of articles are still calling her Kate or Princess Kate. And lots of people mocked the BBC apology and felt it was ridiculous they had to do it.

Palace vague booking. How distinguished!
Okay? Don’t most people sign documents with their full name versus a nickname?
They have posted letters in a similar way many times before, like this one for the carol concert last year
