  1. Given household waste collected by council refuse services makes up a large portion of this according to some reports, this isn’t the work of one man. This is corruption at various levels with various people involved and taking back-handers.

Hope they don’t just pin it all on one bloke, as much as he may be guilty and deserve punishment, then call it a job well done.

  2. Hopefully he drops names of other people involved and if the rumours that a corrupt local authority sanctioned this. I can expect that the public would want a harsh punishment.

  3. This is litmus paper of how much trouble the country is in..

  4. There’s enough satellite imagery to capture things like this happening. There’s definitely some corruption going on.

  5. In the dying days of the major government they introduced a landfill tax of £7 + vat per tonne, it’s now £126 + vat…

This is a crime purely created by government.

Scrap the landfill tax, introduce a fly tipping strict liability crime with a fine of £1million per tonne or part.

  6. That man is definitely in contention for World’s Biggest Asshole

  7. He should be made to clean it up with a children’s bucket and spade.

  8. This is just practice. They’re going after those that polluted the water ways next.

  9. No jail. No fines. Just endless community service picking up trash until he dies.

  10. I live in zone 3 in London, and we have all kinds of fly-tippers constantly throwing garbage by the flyover near me. There’s no camera, so it’s basically a free site.
