Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov said in Moscow that Belarus fully supports Russia’s position on resolving the Ukraine conflict, insisting that lasting peace can only be achieved through the “complete and irreversible elimination” of the causes of the war. Ryzhenkov, alongside Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, highlighted deep Belarus-Russia coordination across major international organisations — including the CSTO, EAEU, CIS, SCO, BRICS, and the United Nations. Both ministers criticised Europe’s approach, accusing the EU of militarisation and sanctions that destabilise regional security. Their statements came amid reports that Ukraine has accepted a Trump-led peace plan, though details remain unclear and Russia has not yet officially responded.
