The Swiss curlers remain on course for the semi-finals at the European Championships in Finland

The Swiss curlers fulfilled their compulsory task against promoted Denmark at the European Championships in Lohja with a 9:3 victory. With their fifth win in their seventh game, they remain on course for the semi-finals.
After the clear 10:2 victory against Austria, the CC Geneva team with Pablo Lachat-Couchepin, Sven Michel, skip Yannick Schwaller and Benoît Schwarz-Van Berkel also remained unchallenged against the second undefeated team at this tournament in the south of Finland. The Swiss led 4:1 after three ends, and the final decision was made with a triple in the 9th end. The Danes then gave up.
In the penultimate game of the round robin, the Swiss will face Italy on Wednesday evening (from 6pm). Finally, the duel with Norway awaits on Thursday (from 13:00). The semi-finals will be played on Friday.
