The Royal Family’s website showing the line of succession has now been updated to reflect the removal of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s titles. Buckingham Palace announced that Andrew would no longer be known as the Duke of York on October 17, with all of his remaining titles and honours stripped.
Three days later Andrew’s title was removed from his profile page on the Royal Family’s website, a decision taken to reflect the loss of his York title following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. It later emerged on October 30 that Andrew would no longer hold his princely title.
