It’s true, more people trying to drum the bangs of division to avoid talking about the real economic issues and negative effect of neoliberalism and unchecked capitalism
Did they fix the lift on that bridge? It’s been down since 2021.
Yes Sadiq!
Well said Sadiq!!
We need more of this robust standing up to nasty, toxic, hateful politics of division.
The rich: “Look, look over there! More of those illegal immigrants syphoning your country dry”
The poor: “Look, look over there. More rich people paying the lowest wages possible, making the most profit ever and shifting their wealth to tax havens to avoid paying personal tax.”
Where is that telephone cord going to?
My mayor
Which bridge is this?
Wow that ‘pissed me off’ caught me off guard
Great soliloquy
Picking and choosing specific examples of Asylum Seeker / Immigration success stories (“*look at Mo Farah, man!*”) is as weak of an argument as picking and choosing specific examples of Asylum Seeker / Immigration failures.
Mo Farah is an asset to the country and someone we should be proud of. He’s also got a brother who was jailed for four an a half years after a knife-point raid and a half brother who 15 convictions for burglary, robbery, and theft.
It’s as stupid to say “*we should open up our borders because of success stories like Mo Farah*” as it is “*we should close our borders because of failures like Ahmed and Omar Farah*”.
Sir, this is a Wendy’s
I heard he wants to introduce Shakira law 😱
I don’t think the best way to push back against racism is to make these “we like Mo Farah and curries don’t we?!?!?!” counter arguments, it comes off as pretty condescending.
Multiculturalism just shouldn’t be a talking point at all. It’s not bad or great, it just is. A country doesn’t perform well due to being multicultural or due to being against multiculturalism. Some of the world’s leading economies are very multicultural. Some of the world’s leading economies are very monocultural. It’s a massive red herring.
Race doesn’t particularly affect anything. Immigration is neither making nor breaking our country. You’re giving the debate too much oxygen just by talking about it at all. Shut up about it, let the racists cry themselves to sleep, shift the focus to something more important like the growing wealth gap.
Is this AI? Why is he calling me “man”
You tolerate a toothache…I feel like I understand now why that word subtly bothers me.

Then work out a way to give our young people something to do instead of snatch phones all day. Your policies have more power than our Reddit comments.
Pretty solid tbh.
Sharon from Sunderland, who hasn’t been to London since 2006, will be along to tell Facebook she thinks he’s “a rat” any minute now.
How did I know where this was shot from the first frame.
