Queen Maxima Favors Natan Green Dress for Indonesia Visit

Queen Maxima of The Netherlands turned to a design by Natan, one of her longtime favorite labels, for meetings and official engagements on Wednesday as part of her trip to Indonesia.

The Dutch queen consort re-wore a dress she previously styled in June 2023. The midi frock featured a green tone offset by a muted pink design motif. The silhouette of the dress was crafted with long, billowing sleeves, cinched at the wrist.

Slight fabric gathering featured as a design choice at the waist, creating a more defined silhouette. Queen Maxima coordinated her pointed-toe pumps with her dress and added a pair of green earrings to accentuate the primary color choice of the look.

As part of Queen Maxima’s trip to Indonesia, she visited the Gran Harmoni Cluster Housing project of Tabungan Negara bank and attended a meeting about Financial Health hosted by Mastercard, both of which took place in the country’s capital, Jakarta.

The very Natan dress Queen Maxima wore for her Wednesday engagements is an established look from her royal wardrobe. The Netherlands’ queen consort previously wore the frock during her visit to Loosduinen Heritage Park in The Hague to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of The Loosduinen Commission in June 2023.

More than two years ago, Queen Maxima opted to augment the blush pink design motif of her dress with a fascinator. The accessory was designed in a bright pink tone with a curlicue element on the crown of the piece.

Queen Maxima is a longtime admirer of Natan’s designs, so much so that when the Belgian fashion label celebrated its 40th anniversary in November 2023, a dress previously worn by The Netherlands’ queen consort was featured as part of an exhibition commemorating the milestone. Dresses worn by Queen Mathilde of Belgium and her eldest daughter and heir apparent Princess Elisabeth were also featured in the exhibit.
