  1. Meghan is following in her mothers footsteps of teaching her kids charitable work early on!

  2. Did she have ā€œDuke and Duchess / Prince/ Princessā€ announced when she entered?

    Bet a beer – yes.

  3. Volunteering before Thanksgiving is always so fun – did it with my mom as a kid and with the Girl Scouts

    Sweet 🧔

  4. Condolences to the hobo who’s going to find a royal hair in his turkey scraps tomorrow.

  5. She puts her hair in a bun for everything except serving food.

  6. Can’t wait to read the comments here. Bet they’re v entertaining.. people love to hate for any old reason but when it comes to H&M they also love to over love lol.

Personally I think it’s lovely they’re getting their children involved in charitable work. I’m glad that both W&C and H&M are/have done it and hope they continue to do so. I think it really helps to keep *very* privileged children somewhat grounded and in touch with reality.

  7. This is what HIS mother had him doing, and good he is having his children do this. I volunteer at a meal kitchen and lots of people bring their kids. Peeling carrots.mixing and scooping is what they love at younger ages.

  8. This is very sweet.

What i am wondering though? I get the hats are for keeping the hair out but why caps like that? I always found the bills on baseball caps to be very annoying and distracting

  9. Everybody clutching their pearls over hairnets šŸ˜‚ Christ alive can’t you just appreciate the good? Who cares what she captioned it with, who cares if they left straight after the photographers, who cares if they used their titles. Just appreciate that people who don’t really have to do *anything* at all, do something good to the benefit of those who less fortunate. Sure there’s plenty of things we can shit on them for (same with W&K depending on which way inclined you are) but let’s not shit on this.

Even if they were only there for 5 minutes, they’ve taken their children in and got them helping out and learning a lesson in giving and charity.

We *know* how much exposure from Royals can help charities and not for profits.

  10. those red hair genes were never going to be defeated damn

  11. That’s great how they are teaching their kids to volunteer. And omg they have grown so much.

I bet the haters will spend the full day analysing the photos hahaha

  12. Good for them! I’m doing the same tomorrow by volunteering at a local org. It’s important to give back both publicly and privately.

  13. That’s great for their kids or any kid to have that experience at a young age.

  14. Did she lose her title? Isn’t she Meghan, Duchess of Sussex?

  15. Good for them, and also, as a non-profit veteran, PLEASE show up at other times of the year. There are usually more than enough Thanksgiving volunteers, but we really need you at non-holiday times.

Sorry for being cranky and thank you for coming to my TED talk.Ā

  16. This is so lovely! Such a lovely way to show thanks and give back to people. They’re setting a wonderful example to their children.

Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate ā¤ļø

  17. Good for them. Show the children what service to the community.

  18. Gotta even out the press after showing up to Bezos hosted birthday party!

  19. This is good. Kids being shown volunteerism at a young age.

  20. How weird it must be for the kids, to be brought up as “princess” and “prince”, with no connection to the country where those titles have any semblance of meaning.

It’s weird enough in the UK, to inflict that on a kid, in the US it’s *intentionally* meaningless, so what are you setting them up for?

  21. They’re trying to help. If you have bad things to say about that, it says more about you than it does about them.

  22. With all the rabid hateful racist monsters on earth sprewing undeserved hate at their parents…. I would hide their faces too. There are so many sick degenerates they need to be protected from.

  23. This is so sweet. They would have never gotten to have moments like this if they stayed in the UK.

Eta: someone asked me why and then the comment was removed.

I dont think they would be able to do this in the UK because the place would be flooded with paps, it wouldn’t have been private enough to bring their kids, and their kids faces would be plastered across every paper in the country.

  24. I wonder if they ever volunteer quietly without cameras and photos published??

  25. I love you Meghan. But girl. You’re working around food… tie your freaking hair up.

  26. My mom used to take me to volunteer like this. I miss it.

Harry is taking after his mum.

I don’t really like Megan… but, I will always love Harry on account of his mom

  27. The fact that Megan has her hair long and loose shows that this is more of a photo op for her than actual contribution. She either didn’t think about getting her hair in other people’s food (= didn’t think about other people) or she didn’t care – she prioritized looking what she thinks is her best.

Also so absurd to volunteer like this and then go back to their $30 million mansion and life of luxury. So performative.
