  1. Between 20 and 10-thousand years ago sealevel rose >100m in association with just a 5-degree temperature increase and a 100ppm rise in CO2. That should give one something to look forward to, because ain’t nothing gonna stop mother nature!

  2. It is happening due to coastal islands drifting, i.e. island erodes on one side while that sand is deposited & builds up a different area of the same island.
