For tonight's event with German guests, Queen Letizia chose to wear a dark dress with striking shoulders, magnified by beaded embroidery. As protocol dictates, she wore a tiara, specifically the Cartier tiara. This jewel was designed by the French house that bears its name in 1920 and features an Art Deco-inspired design, in which we see diamonds on a platinum base and seven enormous pearls, which replace the original emeralds.

This tiara was worn by Queen Victoria Eugenia and Queen Sofía. Letizia wore it in 2018 (she hadn't worn it again until today) and Infanta Cristina wore it at Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden's wedding. Today, the current Queen of Spain is also wearing the chatons earrings from the same set.

The Joyas de Pasar earrings are amazing.

The sleeves on the dress seem a bit big but overall she looks great!
