WANA (Nov 27) – During the visit of the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council to Islamabad, a collection of advanced technologies and equipment developed by Iranian knowledge-based companies was presented to Pakistani officials. These items were offered as diplomatic gifts and commemorative tokens, not as charitable donations, with the aim of strengthening scientific and technological cooperation and showcasing Iran’s expanding capabilities in emerging technologies.
Among the gifts was a portable tele-cardiograph device, highlighted as a prominent example of Iran’s digital health technology. The device enables precise, real-time transmission of cardiac data and is recognized as part of Iran’s strategic telemedicine portfolio, reflecting the progress made by the country’s knowledge-based enterprises in intelligent healthcare solutions.
These presentations align with Iran’s policy of broadening technological engagement with neighboring states. The policy seeks to deepen linkages among knowledge-based companies, expand joint collaborations, and create new avenues for partnership in advanced technology domains. It also provides a platform for introducing Iran’s capabilities in areas such as healthcare, smart equipment, and high-tech innovation.
Observers note that this initiative may help open the way for expanded scientific and technological cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad and could set the stage for joint projects between innovative companies in both countries.
