I thought the wage gap was a myth but the earnings gap was a real thing ? Like when you add up hours worked overtime done and danger of chosen jobs yeah men earn more because they work longer hours put in more overtime and work in more dangerous fields that pay higher generally speaking anyway.
Just an observation:-
This is an article about an issue that appears to affect boys and young men. Maybe it’s a symptom of some larger issue, or maybe not.
But isn’t it interesting that the vast majority of comments here are arguing about the wage gap, and many of them specifically about how it affects women?
Maybe there’s something we can learn here…
Fuckin’ hell. We’ve got an article talking about an ideology that’s inspired numerous mass killings becoming increasingly common in schools, and the comments are arguing about the wage gap?
I think schoolkids being groomed by far-right murder virgins is a more pressing concern, no?
We need better relationships education. It needs to start at a young enough age where kids won’t just dismiss it as “adults telling me how to live my life”. It needs to teach about consent and that the concept of the friendzone is a myth. It needs to teach that rejection is normal and must be considered final. If someone doesn’t like you then you cannot change their mind. Etc.
No one will do this because the Daily Mail will spin it as “teaching kids to have sex”.
I blame parents.
Talk to your kids about their obvious repulsiveness to other human beings.
Maybe get them a nicer haircut.
Stop buying them cans of Relentless. Instead make them a home cooked meal and sit down with them at the table.
Gullibility referrals.
I’m sure schools with their predominantly female staff and their already identified bias against boys (one of many articles linked) will tackle this issue sensibly and tactfully…
A lot of people saying that discussing the wage gap is taking away the focus from a men’s health issue; inceldom is not an exclusively male issue. It is a community that breeds hate to women, advocates for things like sex slavery and murder based on gender, it is absolutely relevant to discuss inceldom in a women’s context as well as the effect on men.
Despite the wealth of literature demonstrating again and again the disadvantages women have in the workplace, you have people in this thread saying that inceldom is a natural response to this. The anathema some communities have to discussing issues like the gender wage gap is one of the driving factors behind inceldom, it deserves to be a part of the conversation.
Incels are right. You cant change my Mind 😃
So anyone who uses the word “Chad” will be labelled an incel? The “Chad” meme went mainstream ages ago, referring to the meme isn’t the marker of an incel.
Thread about men’s issue (Mark Labett being afraid to come out being sexually assaulted): 1000 upvotes and universal support in the comments
Thread about an issue that effects women: 61 upvotes, 300 comments about how it’s actually all women’s fault
brain-damaged teachers ruined by university propaganda now expressing their pathologies through their juvenile charges, very cool!
Poor kids, it’s easy to condemn them for their outward behaviour but I mean, they’re not coming up with these ideas in the shower, someone is pushing these ideas into kids
