The Kazakh delegation took part in the Third Economic Forum “European Union – Central Asia,” held in Tashkent. The event discussed ways to expand economic ties, develop transport and energy connectivity, strengthen resilient supply chains, and promote digital transformation.

The head of the Kazakh delegation, Deputy Prime Minister Galymzhan Koishybayev, emphasized the need for comprehensive regional economic cooperation, deeper investment collaboration, and presented reforms being carried out in Kazakhstan aimed at structural transformation of the national economy.

Special attention was paid to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and the strengthening of practical cooperation within the EU’s “Global Gateway” initiative, which will open additional opportunities for the transit potential of Kazakhstan and the entire region.
