An R&B-led farewell closing the festival’s defining era…

After two back-to-back sold-out editions in 2024 and another landmark year in 2025, DLT: Malta returns for its fifth and final chapter — a carefully crafted last dance designed to slow things down, lean into the soul, and close the Malta story in a way that feels timeless.

For this farewell, DLT is paying tribute to the genre that raised generations and shaped the community that built the brand: R&B. Nostalgic yet elevated, intimate yet powerful, the final edition honours the music that created the memories — and the movement.

Leading this emotional send-off is Brandy, returning to Europe for her first performance in a decade. An icon whose unmistakable tone, vocal mastery and cultural impact defined an era of R&B, Brandy will set the tone for an unforgettable goodbye.

She will be joined by KWN, DVSN, Lloyd and Isaiah Falls, with more names to be announced as the festival completes a lineup rooted in soul, vulnerability and timeless storytelling.

The bill will also feature R&B and neo-soul visionary Musiq Soulchild, plus a Soulection takeover led by Joe Kay, whose forward-looking ear has helped inspire a new era of the genre — a powerful full-circle moment for the final Malta chapter.

Pre-sale opens Friday 28 November at 10am. General on-sale begins Monday 1 December at 10am.

A cultural space that changed the blueprint

Since its inception, DLT has reimagined what cultural experiences can feel like. From transforming London’s day-to-night scene with its sold-out brunches to building a destination festival rooted in community, joy and belonging, DLT: Malta has become a sun-soaked homecoming for thousands of people across the world.

Across the years, the festival has staged unforgettable moments with global stars including:

Wizkid, Rema, Kaytranada, Dexta Daps, Spice, Popcaan, SiR and more — performances that have become cultural touchpoints.

2025 continued that legacy with huge co-branded moments from London’s 1Way and Sika, and US powerhouse Jerk x Jollof bringing their signature heat to Malta.

Fans from across the globe experienced electrifying sets from JayO, Shallipopi, Bnxn, Valiant and many others — proof that DLT remains unmatched in energy, community and cultural impact.

But 2026 is different. It’s the finale.

This is the moment to look back. To honour where it started. To end with intention, beauty and soul.

Reflecting on the decision to close this Malta chapter, the founders shared:

“It’s the last dance, so we wanted to slow it down like the last hour of a dance. It felt right to close this chapter with music that makes you feel something.”

From a 200-person brunch in Peckham in 2016 to global cultural events across Canada, the USA, Ghana, Dubai, the Netherlands, Kenya, Australia and more — with over 100,000 tickets sold worldwide — DLT has evolved into one of the UK’s most influential cultural exports.

Now, DLT: Malta reaches its final act — a soulful, R&B-led goodbye designed to be the most memorable edition yet.
