How the Guardian enables Owen Jones

  1. I don’t like the way Owen has become consumed by the trans ideology in the last couple years to the exclusion of all his other causes either, but this game of painting everyone as a misogynist is sickening and transparent.

It’s cynically employed here by someone who clearly sees their self as a professional victim on the right whilst hypocritically complaining that those same kind of politics on the left have been used to force her out the job.

Errmmm pick a side please. You’re woke or you aren’t and using the watchword of misogyny to activate the troops is not going to end well for anyone.

  2. Had to go to archive ([link](https://archive.ph/xvvwz)) to find out who the author of the piece is (I’d rather give the SUN clicks).

    ffs 🤦‍♀️.

On a hard disk somewhere I have copies of a anti-trans tweet rampage attacking anyone and everyone, she made after returning home drunk one night. She was sticking up for her mate Julie Burchill who had put her foot right in it at the time. It was around a decade ago.

  3. The duality of man.

Agreeing with about 50-75% of things Owen Jones thinks

But also seeing him as the peak of sanctimonious arseholes.

I wouldn’t piss on the man if he was on fire.

  4. Dear lord, the hypocrisy in this piece!

Again and again throwing accusations at her target that she is openly guilty of herself.

He is harming the left because “he loathes Keir Starmer”, but a few paragraphs earlier she states that she didn’t see it as her job to support Corbyn. (you must support the party leader you don’t like but I can do what I like)

    We have

    >So on he marches, engaging only with a few pet females

after earlier justifying her not-anti-trans status as she had invited some trans people to parties. Very “*I have a black friend*” energy there.

Speaks about DARVO, while claiming to be the victim. And she’s the victim not because she is an anti-trans bigot… no no no, it’s because she’s a woman and he’s a man and…

Starts the piece with a tale of how she once stood up to a childhood bully… well not really a bully, more a very pushy personality that hadn’t yet learned to play well with others.

    And now she writes this.

I don’t agree with Owen Jones on many things, but this is just pathetic from Suzanne Moore.
