Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2025 | FULL

The 99th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade returned to New York City with its giant balloons and spectacular floats on Thursday.

The annual parade hosted an exciting lineup of 34 giant balloons, including classics like Spiderman, SpongeBob and Goku, and five new characters like Derpy Tiger, Buzz Lightyear and Pac Man!

There were 28 floats, including seven new ones, including “The Upsidedown Invasion”: Stranger Things, 11 marching bands, and 33 clown crews that will make their way down 6th Avenue.

Santa Claus closed off the parade as always.

  1. It’s striking that in Genesis and Exodus you don’t find an explicit command to “give thanks.” The first major moment where thanksgiving becomes formalized is in the thanksgiving offering—the todah—which God Himself designed.
    In Leviticus 7:11–15, God instructs His people to bring food, offer it, sit down together, thank Him, and share a meal of gratitude. It wasn’t just a sacrifice—it was a communal thanksgiving feast.
    In a real sense, the first thanksgiving meal in history was God’s idea. And the Pilgrims, who knew their Bibles deeply, would have recognized this pattern: gather, feast, and thank the Lord for His kindness—just as Scripture taught (cf. Psalm 50:14; Psalm 107:22; Psalm 116:17).
