Our two county councils are coming home victorious from last night’s Chambers Ireland Excellence in Local Government Awards.
Kilkenny’s team took the Climate Change title for Championing Community Climate Action as well as Heritage and Built Environment for the restoration and conservation of Victorian Woodstock House, Gardens & Arboretum in Inistioge.
While the crew from Carlow were awarded for their Community Roots Programme which was tops among the Municipal Districts Initiatives.
