They know what they say. After all, they did something like this in 1939. They entered Poland without declaring war on the pretext of protecting the Russian-speaking population and securing the historic areas of Rus. To this day, they claim that these were not military actions against Poland and were not allied with the Nazis at all. So it looks like they reached back to old raports and just swapped the word Soviet Union for Poland.
If we say we will have large scale military excercises it means exacly that, not that we plan to invade our neighbours. We are not the same as you ruZZian nazi shitheads. If we would enter Ukraine with our military equipment – reason would be simple – to kick your ugly ass out of their territory and then go back to Poland. That would be our special military operation. But it looks like Ukraine is doing great on their own.
