New one will prob jump to over 3 Euro, it might be a soft intro to the 5 pack
Check the /kg price. €40 vs €18.75
Nobody ever has the club orange bars just the regular club bars, whats that about?!?
They’ve tasted like shit for the last few years. They used to be my favourite… I just stopped buying them.
Oh my god just stop buying this shit. It’s shit chocolate, with shit ingredients, made by a shit company.
Do you expect the multinational corporation to be nice to you? Is this wonka land?
I won’t lie but I am getting tired of these posts a bit now. It’s your choice whether you buy them or not. To end on a positive note, I do hope the prices go down one day but I do have my doubts since once things get pricy, they don’t tend to go down so easily later on
They are £1.50 for 5 up north. Cheaper in tesco in general up north.
How does it go from 18.75 per kg to 40 per Kg??? Wtf!! I fucking hate it here
The taste of them now is an even
Bigger rip off – rotten
Buy Tony’s Chocolonely
It’s been 20years I watched prices in stores in Ireland… Small packs of almost anything are often cheaper than big ones.. ie softener where the concentrated version (cheaper for delivery and packaging) is actually more expensive than none concentrated version, it blows my mind every time 🤣 also package of keshu nuts, where bigger pack costs more then 2 smaller ones.
I challenge you, just stand in front of shelves in Tesco with calculator (yes your phone can do it) or read the smaller prints where they say price per litre or kilogrammes, or number of washing pods vs their cost… see for yourself…
Don’t buy them
If I’ve learned anything about how supermarkets work these days, then this is just to establish the rip-off price & then they’ll introduce the club card deal at half price, which is still a markup but not as egregious.
The important thing to remember is dick-onomy! if dick-onomy is ok, then it doesn’t matter how poor you are
Seeing as Cadbury is gone to shite, what chocolate is a go to for quality and price these days?
Simply don’t buy them.
Tesco own brand chocolate. 2.70 for a big bar of chocolate with good ingredients and no palm oil. Cadbury is gone to shite in Ireland/UK
Cadbury in the US uses better ingredients believe it or not.
Tesco are a rob, not to mention their hostile architecture entrances and useless staff. Fuck ’em
Hate to break it to ya, but having to make your own sound financial decisions has been a thing for a while mate.
Speaking of boycott, what are the best deals out there? Dunnes wafer bars 9 pack for 1.19 is pretty good. Or if I want to ball out, dunnes simply better milk chocolate is savage (2.99), think it’s the same supplier as Aldi’s ‘Roisin’ chocolate
Cadbury is god awful
They’ll be that price for 28 days and then they’ll go on “sale” for €2.50
Kitkat 2-finger bar multipacks sneakily went down from 9 bars to 8 bars in the past couple of weeks
Your first mistake was using Tescos. They milk you on EVERYTHING unless you have a clubcard which they then charge the normal RRP.
Can you explain to me smart people how the EU can’t control this sht
And why are the papers not covering this? That’s what I want to know
It’s not chocolate. It’s salt
Feck Tesco. Feck them into the ground. Don’t know why people still shop there. Let them go bust and feck off back to the UK. Our unfairly priced tesco subsidise the more fairly priced UK tesco. We pay more so they can pay less. They can get in the bin.

Disgraceful, only way to change it is not to buy them though, they honestly think they can do what they like.
Sneaky bastards, they always have a few twix up their sleeve..
Boycotting is the only cure. People are obviously buying them at this insane price
I mean, it’s pretty simple, stop buying Cadbury.
**EDIT:** Although this could just be a Tesco new SKU thing, because they’re showing €2.25 in both SuperValu and Dunnes:
