It’s half-time at Kaiserslautern, and neither side have been able to break the deadlock. However, La Roja have held on to their clean sheet in what has been a pretty entertaining half of football.

A couple of brillaint moves by Germany. First, a long ball from her own half by Minge sets Anyomi free, but the German striker was offside by centimetres. A minute later, the home side come forward again, and Kett’s shot from the left edge of the box is saved by Coll.

Germany have slowly started to get some foothold in the match and are trying to attack Spain’s high backline. Aleixandri earns a yellow card for pulling the jersey of a German player to stop a counter attack.

10 minutes have been played in Kaiserslautern, and it has been a solid start from the defending champions, who have had almost two-thirds of the ball. However, they are yet to test the goalkeeper, which Germany have already done through Buhl.
