Beer #3 – Rochefort 10. Merveille indeed, thanks for the recommendation! It did taste stronger than the previous two, and I really enjoyed the coffee notes. Beautiful foam color as well. What’s next?

  1. Some persona blonde favorites:

    Affligem,
    Karmeliet,
    Cornet.
    Sensi Lowe, sorry🫣

  2. Do you have a préférence in the taste you want ? The suite of the série you began is complicated. So many beers and taste. Val Dieu has great blondes and a spécial one only available on site. West Vleteren would be the peak taste (cause of the prices they won)
Orval is a delicacy if well prepared, with several bottes keot in different environment you can taste different things.
If you want to keep going deeper in Brown coffee chocolate beer. A stout or à scotch cts is quite nice

  3. Stronger than the rochefort 10 is the 12. Harder to like with my taste buds

  4. Gulden Draak. If you like caramel-y beers you’ll love it. It’s a bit lower ABV than this one but I feel like it’s more dangerous because it drinks easier.

  5. C’est une des meilleures de Belgique, après celle là pour moi la numéro 1 c’est la Bertinchamps Brune ensuite on passe aux Stout !

  6. Triple Karamaliet. (think that’s how you spell it )

  7. Love the appreciation for dark beers. My personal favorite is Hercule (with the portrait of the famous detective on it).

  8. la corne du bois des pendus

Its really good. Not that populair, but a real gem!

  9. Maybe you can try Straffe Hendrick quadruple? Definitely a great beer in the style too. St Feuillin quadruple is quite enjoyable as well.

But personally I think that nothing beats Rochefort 10. Not even Westvleteren or St Bernardus abt 12 (both excellent!)

  10. Look for Embrasse from Dochter van de Korenaar. You will not be disappointed.

  11. Try the lambiek Faro.
Not the most sought after but definitely unique.
