Guided tour of Natural History Museum exhibition

A guided tour of the permanent exhibition on the evolution of life on Earth will be held in French on 14 December. It is suitable for children from 10 years of age. The tour looks at evolution from fossils to the links between various species to our human ancestors.

Story reading for kids

Someone will read aloud the book Leo and the octopus by Luxembourgish author, Isabelle Marinov. In the book, Leo has autism and struggles to understand the world. One day Leo meets Maya, the octopus, at the aquarium. Over time, they get to know each other and develop a friendship. Suitable for children aged 4 and above.

The book will be read in Luxembourgish, French and English.

Christmas glow in the dark slime

Circus – Cirque du Luxembourg

The Cirque du Luxembourg is back this year for more acrobatics and magic. From 5 December until 4 January the circus at the Glacis will become a sparkling winter wonderland with twinkling lights and dazzling scenery. The circus is animal-free. Shows last around two hours.

‘An enchanted winter on magic paper’
