The Telegraph posting race-bait ragebait again. Why do they do this? It’s literally not quality journalism.
Let’s set a few things straight. As a “leftie” a lot of people will come to argue that: “How can I support this demographic change, if I’m against the past eradication of Native groups like Aboriginals, Native Americans, etc.?”
Firstly, I don’t express explicit support for any sort of peacetime demographic change like this.
But it’s happened and I don’t mind because ultimately London is a fantastic city. Great infrastructure, rich and well-preserved history, distinct identity, good Mayor, countless job and education opportunities.
I’ve spent a lot of time in London, and anyone else who has knows that most Londoners love the diversity and welcoming character of their city.
Secondly, the other examples of demographic change like Native Americans etc. came about as a result of violence.
Broken promises, broken treaties and agreements, stealing Native land, assaulting and murdering Natives en masse, spreading disease, disrespecting their culture and language, denying them civil rights, forcing their children to attend Westernised boarding schools.
Has anyone here watched Taylor Sheridan’s prequels to Yellowstone? They do a good job of showing how horribly Natives were treated in America. I will give a content warning that his shows can be very violent and disturbing. But still, they show a few historically realistic scenarios of what Natives experienced.
Last I checked, that wasn’t happening to White British communities. Migrating to Britain as a brown person and taking up a job, sending your kids to local school etc. is very different to settling someone’s land violently and displacing them by force.
Finally, a lot of that demographic change came because White British communities emigrated abroad and have had lower fertility rates since like the 1970s. It’s just a demographic reality that if you emigrate often and have fewer children, your community will shrink over time. The same will happen to BAME communities in Britain if they start leaving the UK and creating 1-child families.

The change will accelerate as the boomers who were the last 99% white generation start to pass. It is also worth noting that in 1900 white people globally made up about 30% of the world’s population whereas today that is just 7%.

But I’m sure If lots of white people with a western culture were taking over the majority in places like Africa, Columbia, and any other continents/countries, they’ll be outcrys. But once it happens the other way, it’s racist to say anything about it.
It’s not specifically about the colour of someone’s skin, but the culture that’s brought along with it, and then handed down to each generation. You cannot tell me there isn’t a difference between cultures, typical of certain skin colours. Obviously not all are the same. I’ve met and dealt with some great people from (mainly) Europe, but also some from America, and a couple from Africa. But when religion and culture is brought into another country where it doesn’t belong, significant conflict starts occuring, and it’s where we have social shift. Which, in essence, is a takeover of a country’s values and culture, to another. And it is happening. But I dare say that, I’m suddenly a racist, because a substantial amount of people who want it, happen to be a different colour of skin. I would say the exact same thing if Nazis (who are white), we’re taking over our culture in this country. For me, it’s never about race, but the issues of culture and religion.

What about the British population… Why are the telegraph focusing on the whole “white aspect” only… Seems like a little racial bait to me.
Coloured British people (Asian, black, Arab and others… But who are British) make up about 40% of the population. So British people, just not white.
Per the same census London is 53. 8% white, including Irish, gypsies, as well as foreigners.
Fifty years ago London wasn’t as much of a major economical and international trade hub as it is now anyway.
This is not unique to London, look at basically any capital or major city and the demographics have shifted drastically, all the while boosting the economy.
The UK became wealthy looting other countries. It’s ironic that the same is now happening to them at home. In a few years they will be just like the countries they invaded and ruled over.
Why is this a surprise? London is probably one of the most influential cities in the world and was a major hub for people in the commonwealth countries

Why haven’t more White English people stayed and fought? Why did they run away to the neighbouring counties?

You Englishmen can compare your ancestor’s British Empire with the Roman Empire. First Rome conquered the Barbarians. Then they hired them for work they didn’t want to do. German mercenaries became a growing part of the Roman military. Just like Indians many years later started to dominate the British colonial administration.
With the loss of central authority (crisis of the third century for Rome, decolonisation for UK) people from the former colonies started to take over the heartland.
London is a global city, and half the inhabitants are probably either non-citizens or tourists. Don’t put much stock in this. Any major financial/global centre is diverse. You can look at NYC, Paris, LA etc… with the only exception being Tokyo.
I couldn’t care less about the colour of someone’s skin. What is to be said of their character? Do some research onto that and we’ll have something worth reading.
Are we still nazis for talking about this? Or has the Overton window shifted from anything right of stalins ballsack wants to glass the juice?
