I'm tired of biting into bananas that have the texture of a carrot and realizing they are not ripe yet only after I opened them at home

  1. Literally just wait after you bring them home. Bananas ripen over time.

Stores like Netto would much rather offer people under-ripe bananas than ripe ones. Those who like bananas with a little green can buy and eat them right away, those that like them a little brown can buy them and wait.

If all they sold was ripe bananas, the former group wouldn’t be served.

  2. This made me laugh. It has been an inside joke with my friends that Danish love green bananas.

But as other have pointed out, it makes sense to sell them greener, and just looks for the ones with brown spots if you want one in a hurry. They are there.

  3. Var i Netto i Randers i dag og de var sgu så gule som solen selv og bløde.

Så kom til Netto på Mariagervej i Randers!
    I Randers har vi alt.
    Selv modne bananer 🙂

  4. If only there were some easy way to see how ripe they are. Like a color indicator or something..
