I am hopeful that this means that should the (second) worst happen and the US under this administration does not honor Article 5, that the rest of the alliance still will. Nato was created to protect US of A, by creating border in Europe with was Warsaw pact. That’s why US was a major contributor, so it won’t have enemy at their front door. I still remember when this war broke out, and all Germany could do was 5,000 military helmets, but it’s up to America to fix Europe right? Give me a break already. Europe is a mess. There’s always a war. America ended WW1, and America propped up all the Allies in WW2 and now it’s the same logic.
Europe needs to grow up and grow a spine.
