Russia accidentally destroys its only way of sending astronauts to space
Russia’s only crewed-mission launch site has suffered major damage following a rocket launch on Thursday.
The Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan will be unable to host launches until repairs are made, according to the space agency Roscosmos, marking the first time in decades that Russia has lost the ability to send people to space.
The launch of the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft was otherwise successful, with none of the crew members injured.
Roscosmos shared footage of the launch, which showed part of the launchpad collapse into an exhaust trench below as a result of the rocket’s blast.

Good I hope everything back fires on them
The Russians are good at screwing things up and not having a backup plan.
That’s ok, Musk will do anything fur one of those bubbas from Pooty pie.
The USSR had all their turbine and rocket engines made in Ukraine!
That is where the real scientists are!!
Hahaha
Another ridiculous lies from the west lol!
It’s better that their system of getting astronauts into space was disabled, rather than having a problem with getting their astronauts out of space and back to earth.
Russian bot farm going crazzzy, imagine if the comments were like this under nasa or spacex accidents. Weird af
It was a 20 ton platform that got shot into the flame trench. Stuff happens all the time in this industry but why aren't people allowed to report on it if it's russian?
Better than any launch pad you ever had tho, eh brit? 😂
I get what this is supposed to show, but are we looking at the same angle on these before and afters on the ground? There's some substantial differences… beyond the images of things burnt
Where was the destruction?
Russia bashing…again
Piss-poor video editing
They can simply rebuild? The video lacks extremely on context, nothing here that cant be rebuilt
Doh
Oops.
And why can't they build another one
Barbarians don't need a spaceship. Just shoot them out of a cannon. Ukraine has sent a lot of Russians into space the last few years!
😅😅,,,we have a problem Houston!!
All Rocket launch platforms always get very damaged when launch a rocket. Nothing new, and must be rebuild 25-50% each time. And after 20-30 launches totally rebuild. So nothing new.. even your propaganda is not new. Just stupid. And yes, we know Russia has a terrible economic situation due to the war… Nothing new.
WTF. The stupid video I ever watched.
none in space, now, needing retrieval?
When you dedicate yourself to destruction, that's what you get.
Elon the south African-Canadian will fix them up.
that's easy to fix.
DJT will supply him with what he needs to try again
I live right by Cape Canaveral a can see/hear whenever they launch a rocket and they are launching one at least once a week now. Sometimes numerous launches in one week. Last week there was 2 launches in 1 day!
So what does that mean for the astronauts they sent up?
So the after photos kind of look like its from the failed ICBM that happened yesterday.
A.I 💩
If you look closely you can see Mason fire the guided rocket at it and miss
Wow what an absolutely and utterly retarded video. The title claims they "destroyed" their only way to space… Yet give absolutely no information at all, don't show anything "destroyed" and they don't explain anything. Clearly they're just some cheap lames trying to get views off whatever you'd call ☝️☝️ crap. Nevermind that, I highly doubt they took this video, so they'd be stealing content also seeing as this in no way, shape or form meets "fair use". Stop supporting, watching lames that post nonsense to try and make money off you. Instead report them for the frauds they are, if you know who's videos they're using tell them so they can file a copyright claim, thumbs down and click don't recommend so the crap stops popping up
Good hopefully they burned on take off
So we don't get to see the damage?
For anyone curious to what happened. From what I read elsewhere, a 20 ton inspection platform fell into the flame pit causing significant damage to the structure.
This video isn't what it says don't waste your precious time 💋
Why the f00k does it matter its RUSSIA, ya know PUTIN, that nasty feral old wack job? So who gaf? Not me, i only wish they did lasting damage that prevents them obtaining what they want and/or hurting more people/countries in the future. I hope it helps financially decimate that big fat kunts whole country like i only wish it was more damage, more serious etc. Whos out here feeling bad for the biggest bullies ? Not me mate, let em ROT
What was that tape that saved the boat from being cut in half??
Perhaps it wasn’t an accident
russophobic idiots grasping at straws by this point this video is a nothing burger
Stupid
"The fear of the WICKED it shall come upon him" – Proverbs 10:24, God's Infallible Word
Roasted by rocket. Nice! Bye bye Russia.
This is probably not true. If we see Russia astros still going to space, we'll know
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😳
You guys are bad at YouTube.
Water Deluge failure. Absolutely cooked the pad
