I’m trying hard, but I don’t see how joining NATO would benefit Austria.
Austria and Switzerland, by virtue of being both landlocked and surrounded by NATO countries, both probably have little gain by joining NATO.
Sorry but they are already being vetoed. They didn’t apply for membership but they can’t join NATO exercises because of Turkish veto.
Same reasons with Sweden and Finland + they try to provocate Alevi community in Turkey.
Just stop it already. We don’t need more influence of either USA, China or Russia in the EU.
The Narrative and Agenda Pushing gets too obvious now.
Reminds me of the debates in the parliaments of the clone wars.
Why Austria probably wont join NATO:
We would have to reform our military to conform to NATO standards. This will never happen 🙃
