Southern Door’s boys basketball team had four players score in double figures Nov. 25, but it wasn’t enough when the Eagles lost their non-conference season opener at Denmark, 71-56.
The Vikings led 34-28 at halftime, before outscoring Southern Door 37-28 in the final 18 minutes.
Talon Mueller led the Eagles with 14 points, followed by Eli Jadin with 12, Lauden Berg with 11 and Ryker Lohrey with 10.
Cade DeLarwelle led Denmark with a game-high 32 points, which included five three-pointers. Brayden Jeanquart added 18 points.
Southern Door (0-1) next hosts its first Packerland Conference matchup Dec. 4 against Sevastopol.
