Unpopular opinion: Pilsner Urquell is the most overrated Czech beer.
We hawe much better. Pilsner is overpriced.

So many better beers in CZ.
I look down on people who strictly only drink Pilsner like it’s some purity thing.
But whatever, drink what suits **you** best.
It’s Chinese granulated shit.
You need to have one from a tap. I’m currently in Canada and I can confirm with absolute certainty that canned Plzeň is very much different from a canned Plzeň in Czechia. Idk why.
Pilsner’s okay, it’s the biggest mainstream beer, I prefer Budvar or Kozel of the big beers but most of us beer snobs prefer the small local breweries. I tend to have Ferdinand beer at home.
Spent a couple of months near Muonio a few years ago and was drinking Lapin Kulta which wasnt bad, wine was bloody expensive though which cut down on my drinking as we can get two litre plastic bottles here drawn from a wooden barrel for like 3 Euros.
