1. This is what happens when you have a system that doesn’t hold its ruling class to account with stringent law and is instead built on the idea that politicians will hold to their word, and oaths and ethics would bind them.

   As Kelly-Anne Conway so aptly put “Tell me when the jail sentence starts”.

   So now, what the U.S citizenry get is a lawless shithole, where no-one in power is held to account, and a protected system that will ensure that there is no way to do it.

   This doesn’t just go away with Trump, either. This is systemic.

2. If only there was something like a clause or a law that would prohibit such grift…perhaps something like an emoluments thingy. Just a thought.
