12. Sorry, but discussion about whether a pseudo-historical clip is historically accurate is absolutely fair. Reddit lives on such things. People going down autistic rabbit holes or responding to over-the-top and cringy revisionist propaganda (even if your post wasn’t, the original was) isn’t ‘far right propaganda’.

    I mean, such comments aren’t funny but the clip isn’t exactly the pinnacle of comedy either, so where to go with it.

    Afaik reddit has settings or automods or scripts or sth that can prevent (or rather hide) posts and comments from users under a certain account age and/or karma count.

    The sub has unfortunately been infiltrated by Americans, Russians and Indians looking to stir up shit. That’s basically the internet in 2025.

31. I modded a shit sub for a while. 

    The simplest things to do are to require a minimum age and karma to post. 

    And then put a low threshold for filtering posts and comments that get reported. 

    Ideally you’d only allow reporting from people who have a minimum karma within the sub.  But I don’t know how to code that.
