And if we’re not at war, then it’s just straight up premeditated murder.
It is just crime. Murder. There is no war declared.
Pretty idiotic not try and take them alive to interrogate them. The only logical explanation is that they don’t want witnesses to testify to what really is happening
The first strike was a war crime.
I don’t trust Tim Kaine to do shit. He sided with Trump to gouge Americans on healthcare
“Alleged drug boat” is called a boat. With people on it. Blown up, murdered people. War crime implies there is a declared war. This just looks like chest-beaters using people for target practice, and pre-meditated. And even if they were smuggling drugs, there needs to be probable cause for arrest. And due process. Transparency. And this is in international waters, a small boat, and not posing a direct threat. “War crimes” is pretty terrible, and that term seems to seek to sane-wash these repeated actions.
>*Hegseth* [*called*](https://x.com/SecWar/status/1994552598142038358?s=20) *the reporting “fabricated, inflammatory and derogatory,”*
Doubling down in the face of being exposed is the only way this administration knows how to respond.
The first strike was probably a warcrime too
Time to stop reporting on what people say and report on what happened.
Multiple news orgs claim Hegseth gave a verbal order to “kill them all”
Nobody disputes that 2 strikes occurred, with one after the complete destruction of the vessel.
This makes the act illegal under any designation of the state of conflict or the status of the boat and its crew prior to the first strike.
Media should report these facts as facts. Not quotes.
Turns out the first strike was also a war crime
Does the US even recognize war crimes? Feels like a term that gets thrown around all the time, yet, crickets.
It’s not just a war crime, it’s yet another attempt at regime change of a sovereign nation.
I don’t think Democrats really give a shit about this, just posturing and political theatre.
Caving on the government shutdown with no concessions was a crime against his constituents. I dont want to hear from Mr. Kaine
I’m sure Chuck and the rest of the Dems are drafting a very strongly worded letter right now
These people are not combatants, they are fishermen. This is murder. The burden of proof is on the administration. Show us the drugs you lying , murdering sack of shit.
Who is going to prosecute this? I see a preemptive pardon.
Whatever tim kaine!
This is the guy that voted with republicans to end the shutdown.
You should be ashamed and I hope your ass gets voted out!
Did the Senator say what he’s willing to do about it?
Why are left-wing outlets still reporting on Tim Kaine? Didn’t he vote with the Republicans the other week?
I’m sure another Democrat said the same thing about these strikes, so how about the Democratic base not Tim to rehabilitate his image?
Just an outside observer here but no wonder politicians don’t give af about voters
CBS News should be banned as a source until it is no longer compromised by fascists.
Do not give them a single cent of ad revenue or engagement. Ellison is in the epstein files.
Tim Kaine voted to reopen this government. He co-signed this as far as I’m concerned. He doesn’t get to weigh in. He should be tried just like everyone else after this is all over.
Dropping bombs in civilian craft is already a war crime.
I wonder what Susan Collins will have to say about it
Tim Kaine is a giant pussy so I don’t want to hear anything from him tbh
Fortunately for Hegseth et al, no one give af what Tim Kaine has to say
What’s Tim Kaine’s punk ass going to do about it? Vote alongside the war criminals for a promise to talk about it later?
Healthcare beneits removal assenting Tim Kaine?
