  6. This would have been effective back in Feb when they were screwing with deliveries all through Christmas (Germany sold us gas for most of Dec/Jan).

    Now it is spring and the Russian hand has been so obvious we have alternatives.

    But it does show Russia wanted to kill a bunch of us during winter through shenanigans. And mostly the China Olympics and German gas supplies saved us.

    I’d say there is a case for article 5 right there myself.

    All things being equal I figure NATO just declares a one day holiday for the Ukraine troops. Russia says our hardware in Ukraine is valid for attack. We just say “Okay cool, today we will work on your logic” and destroy every single fucking piece of Russian hardware in Ukraine. Looks like maybe a 5 hr operation for NATO forces.

    “Tomorrow we go back to ignoring you mostly. Just remember that holidays are not always once a year. Probably best not to open any missile doors in case we get the wrong idea”

  7. A lot of factories will be forced to close in Poland and not pay their workers. First stage of delusion is denial. This will hit Poland HARD.

  8. Awww, costly decision to cut off… It will be reflected practically on anything… If you get lucky, you’ll maintain warm level at the same level as in previous winter. Just a price will be multiplied… But it could happen that government will decide it will prioritize the industry. Let’s see…
