The more serious problem I see is that it will be hard to find people on the internet and especially on this sub who aren’t criminally insane.
I would like to share our stance on this matter.
Us Dutchies are already moderating ourselves.
In fact we have the most moderation per Capita.
This is why the mod should be from one of the PIGS.
I would also recommend paying them less.
They should pay us for the honour of moderating.
Also proceeds to do nothing.
We want more mods ?
Has there been a mod recruitment thread in the past where no one applied?
Yeah I don’t mind the time but I don’t need the mental damage of sifting through anti immigrant rhetoric all day trying to decide what is banter and what is soapboxing for the 4th Reich.
I see that bot behaviour all over Reddit and will call it out where necessary, but I don’t see it here (that I’ve noticed). It’s a particular brand of humour here and it’s difficult for them to infiltrate. Look how easily we spot savages.
The posts that other person highlighted when calling out for more mods, well the first time I saw them was on that post , suggesting we don’t really have a problem, or not a severe one.
Storm in a teacup if you ask me. We don’t want an over modded cesspit. The balance has always been decent here.

I am way to emotionally unstable to be a mod.
