  1. Aye waste food during a time when prices are going daft and people are having to choose between eating food and heating their homes.

Great idea you fucking spanner. Such a donkey looking self righteous cunt he is.

  2. The generation who he spent years insulting now won’t eat in his restaurants, one lot of them had already closed down,

Roll on the next generation when he shoots himself in the face this time.

  3. Honestly at a time we’re facing a cost of living crisis (particularly the cost of food), it makes total sense to hold off on a policy that will increase the cost of that food to allow time to assess its impact.

    So, fuck off Jamie.

  4. He’s doing enough already mate, people can’t afford food you self righteous fucking twat, you’ve fair put the beef on yourself, but seeing as you’re all about people doing their own cooking, then I guess you only have yourself to blame, prick.

  5. “Celebrity chef” seems rather generous – surely “Celebrity cook” is more fitting. A chef implies a higher standard.

Thing is, Jamie Oliver is hilariously part of the reason shop meal deals became popular for a generation – because the slop they were being given in school wasn’t worth paying for. Hell that’s probably part of why school meals are free nowadays

  6. Why does Jamie Oliver hate ordinary people so much?

God forbid I should enjoy the simple pleasure of a sandwich and a packet of monster munch. The thought of a small bright spot in my day just infuriates him.

  7. Boris will think it’s a gift and thank Jamie for it. Jamie Oliver is out of touch nowadays and legit believes people can get hard to find bits of meat at your local supermarket. Have a pantry, a garden, a herb house, £300 to spare to get the recommended essential equipment in his books and can generally afford to buy expensive portions of meat and use it all up. I liked his minstry of food book but the rest? He seems to forget that most folks don’t have the means to get what he suggests.

That and he is a twat nowadays. He wants to ban all junk food to “Protect the children” and is partially responsible for the sugar tax. If people want to get it, they will pay for it. Instead, we should be doing more to highlight how easy it is to make healthy food. I’m eating egg fried rice with cut up kipper and cockles. Admittly, I got lucky as Asda had a small tub of egg fried egg for 44p on sunday and the kipper was reduced to 74p today at morrisons. Took a total of 20 minutes to cook. I doubt this is something he would put in his book without throwing a ton of crap in and tell you to visit a local fishmonger to get kippers.

The government doesn’t give a shit. When it’s election time, they’ll pretend to care to save their arses. Just more awareness of healthy eating, encouragement of more deals for healthy food. e.g. Buy one get one free on salads or a healthy meal deal. Granted, some places already do it.
