4. A prime example of how self-identification does not define gender – an attempt mid trial to be sent to a women’s prison. Fail that attempt and you, at least, become an oppressed victim in the eyes of some who will feel compelled to support you.

    It seems the victim in this case made some exceptionally sophisticated and emotionally intelligent remarks. Very admirable woman. I hope this conviction brings her a sense of closure, if not peace.
