  1. Maybe Europe should have taken the necessary measures to protect themself 30 years ago. They have 3x Russia’s population, 10x the gdp, and the capabilities to produce advanced weapons on par with US technology. Oh noooo was Trump mean to the Europeans? Boo hoo, grow some balls and learn to defend yourself against a country that by all metrics shouldn’t even be a threat. Maybe if Europe didn’t spend a decade buying Russian oil and gas after Crimea was invaded Putin wouldn’t have the money to start this war in the first place.

Trump is trash but he’s just a symptom of Europe’s constant refusal to take any responsibility for their own geopolitical security.

  2. Russia without communism doesn’t seem like an existential threat, and communism is unlikely to come back in countries that have access to the internet.

I think the US should let the regional powers handle local regional conflicts until they escalate to a global scale.

  3. Aaa yes, Europe stands alone:
    13x the economy of Russia
    4x the population

Better centralization, technology, and better logistics.

Europe needs to wake up. Kissinger in his last book “Leadership” criticized Europe for not even trying to stand on its own. And that was his thoughts from 1980

  4. This week? We’re coming up on the end of 2025. Meaning we’re almost into a year of Trump’s Presidency. If they’re only just realizing this now, this is on Europe.

Or maybe they should have realized it in 2022 when Russia invaded. Or 2016 during Trump’s first election. Or 2014 when Russia invaded Crimea. Or 2008 when Russian invaded Georgia.

  5. Lol, Germany’s most popular politician, Pistorius, the defence minister has not been able to streamline defence procurement in three years in office. And there’s no majority to re-activate conscription.
