  18. Impeachment is the House acting like a grand jury. The House brings charges and then presents their case to the Senate. The Senate must then vote to remove the President.

  19. Congress must also demand Russia leave Ukraine and that frozen assets go directly to Ukraine for rebuilding without grifter Trump as a middleman.

    The military’s role is to defend the Constitution…and, by extension, Congress and the Senate…under the civilian authority of the Executive Branch, and always subject to the law as interpreted and enforced by the Judiciary. The three branches are meant to operate in balance, not for one to dominate the other two; when one branch tries to overpower the rest, it veers into sedition.

  43. You no longer live in a democracy.Trump spent 1.5 billion during his campaign in 2024. Biden was over 2 billion for 2020. You can’t win without the approval of the tech and business oligarchs. You’re allowed to vote for a small selection of corporate interest approved candidates.

    Standing up for democracy would mean a total reform of the current political system and rules of elected service as well as instituting term limits.

  45. Not enough to just impeach. If convicted he should be jailed immediately. He is still a felon who committed 34 crimes but this is of no use if he is not spending the rest of his life behind bars
