1. Anyone who has sailed the world’s oceans knows that there are species of flying fish. Surely the tank did not signal its presence and entered such a flying fish area.

4. Senegal is not in the black sea. So if they’re right about the location, i doubt this was Ukraine.

5. According to sources, the diesel was on a smoking break when the explosions occurred.

6. On the one hand, they are at war. On the other hand, they’re generally grossly incompetent. Hard to pin down a causative root with so many possible options.

8. At which point do sailors refuse to carry shadow fleet oil? If they get a military escort would that just make them easier to find? 🙂

9. Great for Ukraine. Not so for the environment — another casualty of war.
