  2. Is this adjusted for population growth? This is basically a list of places with growing populations.

  3. Note that this is through 2024, so all the DOGE bullshit is *not* reflected here.

  4. For Fayetteville, AR is it considering Fayetteville proper or the Northwest Arkansas metro area Springdale-Bentonville-Rogers-Fayetteville?

  5. So in other words… places seeing an increase in jobs… because maybe things changed in those regions to warrant it like population growth?

Notice – no BIG cities that already have the population and jobs are in that list… at least not major ones I’d consider anything substantial.

I would also want to know WHAT kind of jobs. I know for example – building homes in Dallas and Orlando has been off the charts crazy the last decade+ now – putting in developments all over the place where nothing but open land existed forever…

  6. I see a lot of weather wimps (speaking as a Chicagoan sitting on 10 inches of snow right now)

  7. Raw totals is better way to organize this data. Even though I know data nerds hate this haha

  8. Lol Austin has been pioneering the tech and CRE recession since 2022-2023.

  9. I think I can speak on behalf of r/Fayetteville when I say:

    Goddamnit.

  10. What is considered the metro area? Is Dallas, TX, Dallas-FW-Arlington?

  11. Palm Bay and Lakeland? There are very few local jobs that pay a livable wage. At least there is some aerospace stuff near Palm Bay, but literally nothing else that pays. I’ve had more luck with interviews across the country than local places with connections in Palm Bay.
