  6. As much as I personally dislike the infiltration of far right political posting in this sub for the past year and half or so, I also don’t want this sub to turn into a political fight.
    I’d argue that even far right content can be posted if it’s funny and embraces the sarcastic spirit of the sub of making fun of hatred. Granted, it rarely happens and it’s usually cheap ragebait. But so is this post, bro.

    Destroy far right content by ridiculing it in true 24U fashion, not by going equally unsarcastic and ragebaiting.

  28. This is particularly poignant for me, as my own grandfather bravely fought against fascism.

    He actually travelled to Spain many years ago as part of the Red Brigades. He and many of his working class friends from Aberdeenshire travelled to Barcelona to fight. Despite their best efforts, they ended up leaving Spain in defeat.

    Of course, it was optimistic to think Aberdeen could best FC Barcelona, even in 1972.

  29. The definitions of right and left have shifted since and are so discombobulated that left acts as badly, or worse than right wings at times.

    In fact, the only right answer is that both extremes are awful. People need to know and understand how to separate each issue and not put everything under a blanket statement towards right or left. It sucks!
