Her balmoral outfits are some of my favorite. So timeless with the tartans and classic tweed. She always looked so at home in Scotland.
I’ve entered my Miss Marple phase with strong style elements of Margaret Rutherford. I’d wear any of these outfits, well, maybe not the one with the red headscarf.
Love all the puppers and tartan!
I love the first picture outfits, and they would still look great today
The third picture is my favorite picture of Elizabeth and Philip of all time. From him sitting on top of the jeep’s roof to her leaning against it with her legs cross, it looks very casual.
As a young girl in Canada, I was raised to love the Queen and it is embedded so deep. Seeing a picture series like this, reminds me that yes, I love her so much still. Can’t help it. She had such a sweet to delight in the simplest moments.
She looks happy in these photos, in ways she doesn’t usually. It’s like she can put her crown down for a bit and just be content.
Her scarf game was immaculate.
The tweed just no. Fuddy. Scarves immaculate. Shoes, hell. Hairdo iconic. Dreary knits. Florals served it.
She always liked her happiest with her horses and pups.

Pic 6 is a fabulous shot.
The Queen never more so in her element.
Edit: Pic 18 made me tear up a little.
I like George’s coat in slide 1.
