The European Union has allocated 15 million euros to Armenia as part of its support program, said European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas at a press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Brussels, APA reports.
According to her, these funds will help Armenia in financing mine-related training and other confidence-building measures.
“In parallel, Armenia is facing other challenges. On the eve of the parliamentary elections to be held next year, Russia and its proxies are intensifying disinformation campaigns in Armenia. We see the same forces in Moldova and the plan is the same. The funds we have allocated to Armenia will also be spent on detecting, analyzing and neutralizing foreign interference,” Kaja Kallas said.
