  1. That’s it I’ve had enough!! raise the fuel prices raise the electric but raising the price of the goodfellas pizza I’m storming the Dàil😡😡😡

  2. It’s outrageous Joe!

But in all seriousness I think it’s different pizzas that were 2 euro. These thick ones never were in my lifetime.

  3. I said it yesterday didn’t I ?!

Pizza industry is rife with corruption, we need an independent pizza regulatory body NOW!

  4. If you get the 89c pepperoni ones in aldi along with some frozen veg, like peppers mushrooms onions etc. Little bit of extra mozzarella on top, it tastes better than most takeaway pizzas. We’ve been doing for ages. Turns out really good

  5. €2 on promotion. Op is being a bit silly.

    Here’s a better one.

    Brennan’s 800g bread was €1.40 before covid. Now €1.87.

It’s seen progressive increases each year.

  6. It’s probably pre inflation to counteract any future lifting of the minimum wage. If they have 20 staff and the minimum wage raises by 50 cent an hour and they sell 4000 pizzas a week its obvious that the shopkeeper had to raise the price of a pizza by 2 euro 50 to pre empt the chance of his shop going out of business.

Hopefully he is already raising the price of everything else in the shop.

Greedy minimum wage workers need to just accept homelessness and cut out this needing money to live bullshit. They cause pre inflation.

  7. Just buy flour, yeast, a few toppings and a can of chopped tomatoes and some herbs.

Would cost the same as two and tastes significantly better and makes about 5.

  8. They’ll raise the price to put them “on sale” next week. Something I never used to notice until I started shopping for my family n getting the same shit all the time for the kids.

Those Birdseye dippers always go up for a week and then down on sale

  9. Well let me tell you. Tesco has bumped up the price of distilled water from €1.60 to €2.00. Water!!! It’s not like there’s a shortage of the bloomin’ stuff in Ireland.

  10. At 4 euro it must be close to the point where it’s worth buying the ingredients yourself and discovering that the thing in that box is the London Guinness of pizza.

  11. Just stop buying them, overrated brand anyway. And this is coming from someone who was mad into Goodfellas for years. Just get the Dunnes or Tesco brands, it’s no more unhealthy for you than Goodfellas and you’ll be saving a bit of money. Dunnes pizzas are 2 for 3 euro, Tesco have pizzas going for between 1.50 and 2.50

  12. They’re frequently on special for €2. Right now, the Restaurante ones are on special for €2 (previously 2 for €5).

  13. Costs gone mad. Sister has small cafe and does pizzas on saturdays. Her usual takeaway boxes were €25 last oct for pk 100 now they are €95. Had to change supply or else stop doing takeout.

  14. Tesco own brand Deep pan pizza or stonebaked pepperoni is way nicer and it’s €1.50 or €0.69 respectively

These namebrand ones were only ever €2 on special.

  15. Tesco own brand Deep pan pizza or stonebaked pepperoni is way nicer and it’s €1.50 or €0.69 respectively

  16. This is why I’m against United Ireland! lol

Pretty sure they are only 2 euro when on promo. They are on promo atm in my local for £2.19 so they have went up a little.

  17. They have to put the price up for 30 days in order for the “special offer” to be legal. I.e. special offers are the real price

You could also try buying the base ingredients and making a homemade pizza from scratch (it’s very easy and you can pick whatever flavour you like babes x)
