1. It’s too bad the wealthy people don’t give one shit about democracy, our jobs, or the planet.

3. This is so awesome that the employees are speaking out! The fact that Amazon’s leadership won’t speak out more forcefully about “democracy, jobs, and the earth” is an illustration of the flaws in the human race. 

4. Amazon be like, “I don’t see money on that list so we don’t care, full steam ahead!”

   Can’t wait for this bubble to hopefully pop, I struggle to think of any ways that this incessant marketing push of so called “AI” algorithms has improved society one bit. Seems like the opposite actually, it has the potential to ruin the digital artist market entirely, makes schooling and college an arms race of anti-intellectual plagarism, pops up power and water wasting data centers all over the place, and makes dumb people think they are smart because Google will scrub search results for them instantly. Sooner rather than later it will end up laying off millions of people on top of all of that. The only people benefitting from AI are tech executives and investors, AKA our oligarchs who seemingly want to plunge us into a cyberpunk society so they can buy their fifth megayacht and third private jet.

5. Stop giving Amazon money.
