  1. Mankind, Cactus Jack, Dude Love…a great bunch of lads.

  2. One of my childhood heroes who I still feel comfortable looking up to

  3. That man (mick Foley) is a wrestling legend he’s also a great santa look alike. I’m serious. Look it up.

  4. How was it – stories, Q&A? Did he chat with the crowd much?

Most important, did he seem happy? Hope so, he absolutely spent himself to entertain, tough industry!

  5. I was at an OTT event a few years ago and Mick was there. He got in the ring, cut a promo, took a bump for one of the guys, got the socko in and everyone was happy (i was worried about the bump because he had just had hip surgery).

Main point if this is he watched the rest of the show on a balcony and 2 lads, scuttered drunk, kept turning to shout up to Mick. Some of the fans near them told them to leave him alone ffs. The lads went “it’s ok we know him” hahaha like lad we all know him it’s Mick Foley

  6. I’m surprised he’s not in a wheelchair or has some form of brain damage, I’m glad to see him still standing and coherent enough to give talks

  7. I saw Mick last weekend in Galway, an absolute class act. Literally my hero as a kid. Had a very short greeting before he was on stage and said hello. Very funny and genuinely appreciated of the fans. Doesn’t like to be interrupted or heckled too much so if you’re going, be nice and quiet and show respect.

  8. Cactus Jack returning against Triple H is still one of my favourite all time wrestling moments

  9. I once asked him to tweet his support for Leinster rugby if I donated to a charity he was raising money for. He tweeted it straight away without even checking if I’d donated.
