  1. House Democrats on the Oversight Committee on Wednesday released photos and videos from a private island in the Caribbean that Jeffrey Epstein once owned, shining new light on what was once the epicenter of the late convicted sex offender’s decades of abuse of young girls and women.

    The release includes 14 images and videos.

  4. The images and videos show several bedrooms, bathrooms and what appears to resemble a dentist’s chair in one room with masks on the wall, as well as a landline telephone with first names written on the speed dial buttons, including Darren, Rich, Mike, Patrick and Larry.

    Multiple videos capture the opulent grounds of a home resembling a luxury resort, featuring a swimming pool, palm trees and a winding path overlooking the ocean. One photo appears to capture a study featuring a blackboard: Scribbled on it are words like “power,” “deception,” “plots” and “political.”

    A Democratic committee aide told CNN that the photos and videos released by the committee on Wednesday have previously never been made public, and were all taken from Little St. James Island in the US Virgin Islands. There are several redactions in the images of the phone and the blackboard – the aide said any women’s names were redacted out of an abundance of caution.

  7. So this is nothing? Unless someone can conclusively show who Darren, Rich, Mike, Patrick and Larry are. Idk man they’re going to feed us just enough to let the imagination run wild but they will probably give us nothing actionable.

  10. Anyone remember when Epstein was arrested in ’19, someone flew drone over his island home and posted the pics and vids on the internet. The interesting thing about them was that A) the place appeared ransacked, B) the FBI had yet to search the island.

    Edit: someone below claimed that the vid showed the FBI searching the island. If someone has the vid and dates of the search that would be cool.

  18. It’ll be another 30+ years if anything damning comes out. Long after Trump has passed and some of the victims and when people started to forget about the ordeal.

  19. Why are names even redacted on the phone and on the blackboard? Did he have victims on speed dial, or someone who hasn’t been indicted yet? It baffles me even the sketch on the blackboard is redacted.

  31. I find it so odd that trump said it’s only Democrats in the Epstein files but they are the Democrats are the ones releasing as much information as possible while republicans are paying the FBI 800K worth of overtime to scrub trumps name from the files.

    Though much of the writings were redacted, presumably to hide women’s names, per the article.

    I think it’s an open secret that the documents are being scrubbed of references to and mentions of orange man, and being used as a political tool against whatever Democrats they leave (if not outright insert?!) in the docs.

  34. You would think, with all that money, he would:

    1.) Get a better looking pool than just a simple rectangle

    2.) Get a less creepy fucking statue than a weird indigenous looking thing with a bow
