I miss the times when consumers actually had a choice what they prefer to use…
Don’t ever complain about these bags. They can save your ass. Also they are reusable – 99% of polish people (to save money of course, not to save our planet) use them again to pack for instance sandwiches, cosmetics when you travel and so one. So don’t ever underestimate their power!

Thank god, Poland is not a developed country. But seriously, we really should ditch them in favor of paper bags. Ironically, paper bags were very popular in grocery stores 30> years ago.

What’s the problem with using those, if they are recycled afterwards or used again? It’s not like they are pileing up on the streets like in other countries. Also it is USA and China combined that are responsible for 90% of all garbage in the oceans.
