  23. ‘Ready for war with Europe’ even given the pitiful state of most of our militaries I really doubt that Russia can spare the force needed to fight Europe given how poorly they are faring in Ukraine. Sure, any 1 country is unlikely to do well against Russia, but I highly doubt offensive military actions against a European country in NATO/EU member is not going to result in all of Europe getting involved. There are some 2 million active duty military personnel in Europe, some 2000 fighter jets (including a few hundred 5th gen fighter jets which absolutely smoke anything Russia has), thousands of highly capable main battle tanks, and two countries with enough nuclear weapons to wipe every Russian city off the face of the earth.

    Europe can and should be doing much better militarily but on the whole easily has enough to challenge Russia, who may I remind everyone again, is already bogged down in a 4 year war which has cost them hundreds of thousands of casualties. Who here seriously thinks they can spare the manpower from Ukraine to take on Europe?
