
A new report from Bloomberg New Energy Foundation expects data-center power demand to hit 106 GW by 2035. This represents a "36% jump from the previous outlook, published just seven months ago."

This is my shocked face – is it correct, no! Is it likely close, yes. Add in transportation electrification, ditching natural gas, and industrial electrification and your electric bill is going through the roof.
At that pace it will be 20 terawatts in 2035.
Batteries are changing the game. The units are in the equivalent of gallons/hour. As storage (Batteries) get cheaper what matters more is gallons. 1-2 hours of storage would allow 100GW; 4-6hours 250GW via the grid. Off grid build outs certainly help but are cumbersome and slow
